Connor Detjen (CEO, co-founder)
Connor Detjen (@connor) is the CEO and co-founder of Selfie, a community focused on capturing and sharing personal moments. He is responsible for the company’s overall vision and strategy as well as day-to-day operations.
Since the beginning, Connor has focused on simplicity and inspiring creativity through solving problems with thoughtful product design.
Prior to founding Selfie, Connor co-founded FinleyKnight, an electronic duo that toured the United States and Argentina, and worked with producer Joey Waronker in Los Angeles. FinleyKnight released an iOS application called Musician, that give independent artists tools to book national tours. He graduated from Denison University with a BS in Premedicine.
John Detjen (COO, co-founder)
John Detjen (@john) is the COO and co-founder of Selfie. John works closely with Connor and Subash on product design and software engineering.
John and Connor grew up in Chicago, and their team works out of Chicago’s tech hub, 1871. John graduated from Fordham University with a BS in Biological Sciences. He co-founded FinleyKnight with Connor, and led the group to Los Angeles to complete their latest full length record. John developed the software for Musician, an independent touring application, for FinleyKnight’s personal use before they released it to the public.
Subash Luitel (CTO, co-founder)
Subash Luitel (@subash) is the CTO and co-founder of Selfie, a global community that focuses on self-expression. As the head of engineering, Subash focuses on building products that bring out the creativity in all of us.
A native of Kathmandu, Nepal, Subash holds an BS in Computer Engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology.
